Route 1. The River Thames: Flying
in one of our fleet well maintained Bell 206 Long
Rangers, we'll pass over the many varied and wonderful
bridges crossing the River Thames on a journey that
spans the hundreds of years of architectural heritage
to be found in our capital city.
You'll be able to point out the impressive Battersea
Power Station and the headquarters of MI5, Tower Bridge,
HMS Belfast and the O2 Arena, The Houses of Parliament
and St. Paul's Cathedral.
We'll fly you over the latest in modern architecture,
some to be found in Docklands' Canary Wharf - the
famous "Gherkin" for instance - and of course
along the banks of the river. You'll see London Eye,
The South Bank, plus the new Globe Theatre, along
with the stunning vista of mighty London itself spread
beneath you like an animated, 3d map. All the while,
the pilot can be giving you a running commentary should
you wish.
It's a tour that should definitely not be missed
if you're visiting England from overseas, to give
you an idea of the beauty, size and scale of our wonderful
major city. And of course, feel free to take all the
